LOOKING AT THE SEA: Citizen Science and Marine Conservation
Conference on October 16 in Palma (Mallorca) and by streaming
07/09/2020
The program is now available!
We are organizing a day to make public the role of marine citizen science in the conservation of the sea. We firmly believe that citizens (individually or organized) can have a proactive participation in science, and that is why we want to encourage the involvement of a growing community, including new strategic sectors.
We will have a wide diversity of perspectives on marine citizen science in the Balearic Islands. We will learn about it thanks to the experience of those who practice it (scientists, diving centers, socio-environmental entities, citizens) and we will discuss how to achieve new challenges.
The conference "Looking at the sea. Citizen science and marine conservation" will be on Friday October 16 from 4:00 to 7:30 pm at the Es Baluard Museum (Palma, Mallorca). Anyone can enjoy it since we have:
- Free entry with prior registration ( register here )
- Sign language interpreters
- Streaming . Life streaming will start at 16:30h in this link.
- Event in Spanish and Catalan.
Do not miss it!
